Hotels At Disney World

The Walt Disney World Resort has a huge selection of hotels, most of which are situated in the Disney Parks themselves so you can roll straight out of bed and into your favourite attraction. Whether you want to get close to nature, experience the cultures of distant lands, or just want a good old bit of luxury, there's something to suit all tastes at the world's most-visited entertainment resort.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

If the aim is get back to nature, where better to stay than the largest animal-themed park in the world? You'll find over 30 species of wildlife roaming around the Animal Kingdom Lodge hotel, amidst a lush tropical savanna setting. Guests can observe exotic animals from the balconies and alcoves of this African lodge-style hotel, as well as enjoying animal-themed activities for all the family.

For a taste of the Southwest, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort echoes the spirit and romance of Spanish-colonial Mexico and celebrates explorer Don Francisco de Coronado in his quest to find the legendary Seven Cities of Gold. This resort hotel is set around the glittering 22-acre lake "Lago Dorado" giving a tranquil and relaxing setting. However if relaxation is the last thing on your mind, you can explore the cheerful atmosphere of the Disney's All-Star Movies, Music or Sports Resorts, which celebrate the exciting worlds of films, music and sport.

Epcot

The Epcot Theme Park explores two key concepts; innovations of the future and various cultures from across the globe. These are perhaps counterbalanced by its accommodations, which are mainly based on olde-worlde American influence.

Get ready to summer in style at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, a lakeside hotel crafted and decorated in the "Shingle Style" of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. With cast members decked out in full crew regalia, Guests will feel as if they're visiting a New England yacht club. In keeping with the water-side theme, the BoardWalk Inn echoes the charm and elegance of 1940s Atlantic City, and is set along a quarter-mile boardwalk. This place enjoys a real carnival atmosphere which is certainly not hindered by the award-winning beer brewed on the premises at Walt Disney World Resort's only working brewpub!

For an equally historic setting, the Beach Club Resort is built in the New England-style and furnished with white wicker furniture, evoking the humble comforts of times gone by. This hotel is located on Crescent Lake, which is a hubbub of family activities featuring waterfalls, lazy circular river, waterslide and elevated tanning deck as well as poolside restaurant and bar. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a tropical paradise set on Epcot's beautiful Barefoot Bay, with sun, sand and swaying palm trees. Time feels as if it's slowing down as you relax in a hammock, laze on the beach and enjoy authentic island foods.

Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is perhaps Walt Disney World's best-known park, with six individual and very different 'lands' celebrating the enchantment of Disney's best-loved fairytales.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is an ultra-modern deluxe hotel with views of the nearby Space Mountain and Cinderella Castle. In contrast, the longhouses of the Polynesian Resort are decorated in tropical colours and furnished in traditional bamboo and rattan with thatched roofs.

Often regarded as the flagship hotel of Walt Disney World Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa combines Victorian-style sophistication with modern luxury, in contrast to the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Cabins, which take their inspiration from the American Frontier and National Parks, and their themes from being in harmony with nature, wildlife and Native American designs.

Downtown Disney Area

For those who would prefer not to stay in the Parks, there's always the Downtown Disney Area with its dining, shopping, live music and fabulous shows Here you can experience your own little bit of the Deep South, with hotels themed around rural Louisiana and New Orleans' historic French Quarter at Disney's Port Orleans Resorts.By
