1. Location is the number one advantage the Walt Disney hotels have. Only two non-Disney hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, are closer to the parks than all of the Disney resorts. You can walk to the parks from many of the resorts. Then there's the monorail. There's nothing better than jumping on a monorail and being in the Magic Kingdom or Epcot in just minutes. Staying on-site avoids the morning I-4 traffic.
2. At all of the Disney Resorts, the magic never ends. Michael Eisner once said, Walt Disney World is "the most magical place on earth." Mr. Eisner is right. There really is magic in the air, and when you stay in one of the great on-property hotels, the magic continues even when you sleep. The hotel rooms are full of magical extras like Disney characters in the bedspreads, walls and carpets. The soap and shampoo have Mickey all over them. Everything is magical.

4. Extra Magic Hours is one of the many perks that Walt Disney Hotel guests receive. With Extra Magic Hours, you get to enter selected theme parks one hour before they open, or stay three hours after the park closes. This is a huge perk. It's a great way to see the parks when the crowds are small.
5. All the little extras Disney does to spruce things up. Disney is the number one gardener in the world. They can take a normal looking bush and turn it in to a work of art. The hotel grounds at Walt Disney World are always immaculate and beautifully kept.
